CAT5 RJ45 Ethernet Network Cable, im wondering if it will be able connect me? thanks

I am looking for a new router that works better than my current one it is slowing my internet down horribly, i cant play online games without having the window freezing up on me and web pages are slow to load so i want to know what kind of router you would suggest? I use wired right now but plan to get a laptop soon and will probably need wireless too.

Show that exiting signal envelope (in time domain) is proportional with amplitude spectrum of g(t).
I think that this question is taken from the book: Communication Systems Engineering by Proakis J. and Salehi M. or (less probably) from Communication System by Haykin S., but I have no way to buy them. If anybody has those books I would appreciate if you tell me if there is this problem solved (send my picture of that page please).

Just to clear up some issues. I do not have any credit card, and if I have I don’t want to buy this books only to find the solution for this problem (or worse not to find anything related to this). I am not rich (I live in Serbia) and for me 100$ is big amount of money.

So at my friends house, theres a guest house in the back yard. well, we hang out at the guest house. Now, the main house has Wi-fi but due to the guest house being made of cinder block, it doesn’t receive the signal inside. if we go outside, we get plenty of reception. What im wondering is: is there any type of like…receiver unit i can buy to put outside or in a window of the guest house to either bring the signal inside or at least have some cat5e connectors

I have a machine (cable box kinda thing) that provides Filipino channels (from the Philippines). I have a router right next to it ( wireless) that it is plugged into right now. It sometimes has a hard time buffering the program that my folks are watching. The machine also has wireless routing capabilities. So is it better if i just make the machine go wireless or just keep it plugged in a router with a CAT5e cable?

Hey there Y!Answers, i have a question thats really been bothering me about my ADSL speeds,
i have AT&T Elite (pointless IMO), and it claims “6mbps”, kinda low, i know. but my speeds cap out at 680kbps even though a speed tests claims i have 6.4mbps down.
so would wiring new Cat5e cables along the side of my house into the wall jack (i only have one that branches off into 2 other ones… i live in a really old house).
the cable thats connected outside my house is from around the 90′s or early 2000′s, (Not Cat5) but i recently had my phone line fixed and they halfway wired the outside with cat5e.
so would using cat5e cables THROUGHOUT the whole house and cat 6 on my routers really improve my speeds?
and if so how would i go about wiring the cables at the service box? (i noticed currently only 2 wires from inside the cables are being used… why just 2?) and i have my Linksys Wireless N/Gigabit router connected to my current AT&T router/modem and it seems pointless since its running off a phone line cable with only 2 wires being used (ironically the brand is 2wire),
so all together i was wondering if using cat5e wiring throughout would help increase my speeds, how would i go along wiring my Linksys router directly to the phone line rather than through the modem which makes it pointless, and how would i go along connecting it to the back of the house in the service box? (I installed new phone jacks and they all have cat5 connections but the 6feet of wiring leading into the house is really old wiring)

I have a Big Pond Broadband contract for the 24 months. I’ve been having the net with them for 16 months now and I have another 8 months, how much would it cost to cancel the internet? I’m thinking to switch from Big Pond to Iprimus they have much better deals for a lower price not like Big Pond, I have 25 GB for $60 per month with ADSL1 thanks. Also best response will get best answer and full stars.

Soon I will have a wired home network. Wireless would be easier, but I I am low on cash and want the full potential of my internet. I have pre-wired most of my home with a Cat 5 cables, I just need a router and ethernet wall jacks. So far I understand Bestbuy does not longer sell them ( I checked at the store) and was told RadioShack sells them ( I havent checked there yet). I found Cat 5e wall jack or port faceplate, on tigerdirect.com. (Why tigerdirect because its cheaper than it was at bestbuy, which is $4 more per wall jack. I dont know the price for them at radioshack.) I was wondering if anyone could tell me if Cat 5e wall jacks will work with Cat 5 cables. So there is no problem between the too. I just wanted to ask before I bought them, and find out it possibly doesnt work.

There is currently a new-work electrical box in the drywall from decades ago. If I were to run new wiring, could I reuse that electrical box, or should I abandon that box and dig in a new hole in the drywall to install an old-work electrical box?
