I share with my friend, who lives next to me my internet connection. If we both are downloading at the same time, do I loose download-speed.

I work with Cat5e networking cable all the time, but every once in awhile we have to do an analog phone drop, so why is it that analog phone cable uses an RJ-11 plug and has three copper pairs, when it only uses one?

The company w/n increase the size of the data package, so I was wondering if there is any way to connect via CAT5 and wireless, then merge both connections to increase my internet speed? Thanks!

Ok, here’s the “problem”…
I wanna get a VoIP home phone service. I need HIGH SPEED INTERNET. There’s not a single company here where I live that will sell me just the HIGH SPEEN INTERNET. They all want me to get the bundle which is home phone and internet together. So my question is…What internet provider do ya’ll use?

Most networks use DHCP servers and dynamic IP addressing. If your network uses static IP addressing, what information will you need to know? Thanks.

Everything they like or dislike! Is it an unix system and if it uses bash or something else??? Does iternet work on it?? Dsl, cable and PPPoE??

i thought this was a winsock problem but when i tried winsock fix, it didn’t work… i can connect to my dial up connection which uses prepaid card, but i cannot browse. i’ve tried reformatting the computer but it didn’t work. when i’m not connected the browser opens, but when i’m connected, the browser won’t open no matter how many times i click it.
i also noticed that whenever i open network command shell, or ipconfig, an error occurs…. the computer will hang…
pls help me… thanks guys….
