How can I upgrade to broadband internet?

I’m currently on stone age dial-up, although my mum says we have ‘Sky Broadband’
Why do I still have to connect using a wire, and it isn’t any faster?

I’ve called Sky and they have told me that we don’t have broadband in our area…
This doesn’t make any sense at all!

So what do I do? Dial-up is painful!

How do I connect a laptop to a network after a router upgrade?

So I went ahead with my original plan. I did a router upgrade.
My Win 7 laptop – perfect connection, maybe better than before!
My XP desktop PC, good connection, could be better.
My sister’s Vista – only google works. Full signal. Under attached devices, her laptop is there. I have restarted the laptop twice, and pulled out and inserted the power lead to the router multiple times. Anyone have any suggestions?

Can I upgrade from 32 bit Windows Vista to 64 bit Windows 7?

Hi, my current PC has 32 bit Windows Vista, with all my hardware having 32 bit drivers. If I purchase a 64 bit version of Windows 7, and I wipe my hard drive clean, can I use it?

My question also includes hardware. After I wipe my hard drive clean and install 64 bit Windows 7, if I install 64 bit drivers for my existing hardware, will it work?

Here’s my list of hardware:
Motherboard: NVIDIA eVGA nForce 750i SLI / NVIDIA nForce 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet
Video Card: NVIDIA eVGA GeForce 9800 GX2
Sound Card: Sound Blaster Audigy
Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo CPU E8500 @ 3.16GHz
Printer: HP Deskjet F4200 Series

Thanks,
Mike
@J0zh94′s comment:

I downloaded the Windows 7 Upgrade Advisor and it says that all my hardware meets the requirements, including my CPU which meets the 1 GHz requiremnt.

Thanks for telling me about this tool.

intel card upgrade need help! gives 10 points! :)?

I was recently looking around the internet trying to find a solution for my rerouter because the internet keeps disconnected, I saw a solution and it said my intel card might need to be updated, so i downloaded Driver Robot, and it has shown the drivers I need to download, but I dont really wanna pay for Driver robot, so i’d rather do it manually,

problem is, I dont know where to download the Driver

Driver Robot says this:

Network Adapters:
NVIDEA nForce 10/100/1000 mbps networking controller

Im guessing this is the intel card, because all the other ones it says are out of date (8) look as if it has nothing to do with the internet.

So could someone please give me a link to download the latest update for this driver?

Thanks so much :)

BTW im on a COMPAQ laptop :)

Dentist wanted the laser “piped” into an additional operatory, so it was necessary to add another port or station on the laser (in multiplexer) to feed a fiber optic line taking the beam into the additional operatory.
