I had an internet cafe which i uses 3 switches connected to one another.my problem is there is too much lagging when we play games.anyone can suggest what type of cable material shud i use to increase bandwidth?BTW im currently using CAT5 cable to connect between switches.Suggestions pleasE.

I’m curious… What Ethernet cable will give me the best results when connecting from the modem to the router? From cable modem to router should I use a regular Ethernet cable or cross-over? And then from router to Xbox 360? And from router to Laptop? I’m looking for the BEST results, not recommendation. Thanx!

I have been fishing these types of fish in Minnesota on numerous lakes and i have only caught 5-10 every time. But others around me seem to be having better luck than i ever have. Long back when there was 14k modems was norm i did read about a company which marketed a modem which used 2 telephone lines to give you 28k speed! Those days 28K was like today’s T3 or better connection! I have on my disposal one GPRS connection and a 56K dialup modem connection

I just got internet installed at the new place I’m living, and I’m not sure of what type of wireless router would be best for handling all of these devices. I know I should use a wired connection for the gaming systems, but, that’s not possible.

I have four LANs each on CAT5E in four buildings within the same yard, which I have to link together using the Optic fiber.Which type of fiber and terminating accessories do I have to use to enable modulation from electrical signal to light pulses and back to electrical as data travel accross the LANS to and fro via the Optic Fiber. I have connected the modem rooter with my computer with an ethernet cable , and I cave an ADSL internet connection.I have downloaded the free download manager and offers me these options xx modem, xxK DSL cable, 1.5M T1, 10/100M LAN. My line is PSTN (by xx i mean various numbers)

iam using msn messenger version 7.5.0322 but i cant find the outgoing mail server ……im totally lost
i have a hotmail address..i just want to know the name for the outgoing mail server (SMTP) for example (mail.digitalhost.net)

I don’t know if this works for the PS3 but i’m sure you would have to do the same process with the PS3′s IP and Mac Address. I know cisco has a version 7 and a version 5; but Linux has md 5, is that the same thing as Cisco’s version 5?
