that you have the latest drivers for your video card from the manufacturer’s website. It’s titled “fatal error”. then a screen pops up that says this. what do i do? i have a NVIDIA GeForce4 Ti 4200 with AGP8X. Please help me!

Trying to use 2 different subnets on two different Nics, and 2 Physical DHCP servers, though can’t get the ADS DHCP to bind properly… any suggestions?

Also is there some place that lists all the email providers servers protacols?

and then i have to chose one i guess…

If you continue, you may not be able to receive mail.” What is the username/password combination I have to type in? Where do I get it from? PLEASE HELP. I already looked at the apple page and it didn’t help!

I used the Windows Connection Wizard to set up a new connection. It works until I restart the computer and then *something* changes so that it stops working. I’ve checked all the properties and they are the same. I have to RESTORE my computer to an earlier date (before I used the connection wizard) and re-run the wizard. It won’t work again *until* I restore.

Here are the steps I’m doing in Connection Wizard:
- Connect to the Internet
- Set up manually
- Broadband w/ user name and password
- Enter user name and password
- OK

When I hit CONNECT it says something about a WAN Miniport (PPPOE). Before I restart, it works. After I’ve restarted one time, it just keeps trying to connect and then says there is an error. Again, I have to RESTORE and run the wizard again before it will function.

I am doing this in China. I just moved here.

XP did not detect the broadband connection. I am in China so you have to pay for broadband as you use it, so I have to sign in each time. This computer is only a couple months old and I never had problems with it in America (hard wired or wireless).

It works the first time around, but when I restart something changes.

I have a PPPOE connection with a password, and when I try to connect to it I get an error saying that access has been denied because the username/password is invalid on the domain. I know that the username and password are right – I have them saved, and I re-entered them to make sure. The account has not been canceled and everything seems to be plugged in properly… does anyone have any idea what is going on?
This has happened a few times before, but it usually resolves itself within a couple minutes…

I’m trying to get online but the only thing i need to know is how to set up an IP address. Do i choose automatic, do i choose manual if so how do i set it up after i click manual, or do i choose PPPoE if so what is PPPoE and how do i get the information to set it up correctly my PS3 is wired i have high speed internet and i’m 15. A couple days ago I posted a question in regards to my internet not working and got some responses but nothing works my computer experienced a registry error and I fixed it using CHK DSK not when I boot up CHK DSK runs everytime….not sure why??
Also since the registry error my internet will not work everytime I start firefox or explorer its just gives a blank page and the loading bar at the bottom trys to load the page but it never does? I have re-installed firefox and nothing happens… I have tried to make back ups of my winsock and winsock2 registry and delete the old ones and that doesnt work….I have tried multiple reg fixes still nothing…I really have no clue why it doesn’t work b/c I have 2 other pcs that run off my Linksys WRT45G and they both work fine… can anyone point me in the right direction thanks in advance…

I am trying to set up windows mail with yahoo mail and need to know the e-mail server type (POP3, IMAP, or IMAP).Incoming mail (POP3 or IMAP) server. outgoing e-mail server (SMPT) name. and if the outgoing server requires authentication. I have a free yahoo personal e-mail account

I will expand on this;

Today I was at a business connecting a small network of 10 PC’s to a work group. Now I get my tools together and collect some info, and in walks the owners “Buddy that knows a little about computers” This guy proceeds to ask me all manner of questions about DHCP, PPPoE, NAS, Servers, and hardware in general. Now I don’t mind if its honest questions but this guy obviously knew the answer to the questions. So, I am standing here thinking why in the heck did this guy call me in to fix his network?

Anyone else know what I mean, I mean come on if you know so dang much fix it. Don’t waste my time and my techs time and don’t rush me and then complain. I just wonder if its just me or is this common, lol.
oh yea he asked if I thought the router was bad I said it might be but I want know until I test it. So he has a employee go buy a new router while I am gone to lunch I get back and they have reset the old router and set it to PPPoE and had access to the internet on one PC but not the others. SO, now I gotta fix all this crap and the owner treats me like “Why didn’t you do that” How do you deal with people like this, I mean there is a process to diagnostics you don’t just go pushing buttons and unhooking stuff. Then I only charged him $155 for 3 hours of work most of which was fixing the crap they messed up while I was at lunch. WHY, WHY, WHY…………….

PS. I didnt even think about SCTP lol that would have shut him up

I keep getting a DHCP error that ive never gotten before. I used to connect with another wireless device but now im using a wifi adapter. Any ideas?
