I work in a small office with a telecommunications cabinet 4 ft x 5 ft x 1.5 ft made of plywood which contains a UPS, router, DSL modem, phone switches, etc that make a constant humming noise. How can I easily and inexpensively reduce the noise?

I had to reinstall my OS because my winsock got corrupt and when I repaired (from SP2 back down to SP1), my Realtek sound device no longer works. I have tried getting the latest updated driver, uninstalling and rebooting and letting windows reinstall the device but it always comes back up with “the device could not start Error Code 10″. I remember fixing this before but I forgot what I did.
I have already obtained the driver from the manufacturer.

Three Cat5e cables should be able to run all my surround sound speakers in my theater, since each cable has eight wires. That is, if the cables can carry that kind of current and signal. I have plenty of Cat5e, and I can just make my own connections to connect it to the sound system. That would look much nicer than having all these individual wires.

I have a wireless router connected to a PC and a network printer, 2 wireless laptops. What I want to do is connect a TV, Surroundsound system, XBOX 360, and a Satellite reciever to my network. The Sat rec cannot be connected without a cat6. Can I hook up a second wireless router to communicate with the first and connect the components to the internet like that?
