SOCKET s = socket(AF_INET, SOCK_STREAM, IPPROTO_TCP);

in second parameter u choose stream or datagram which is tcp or udp… so what is 3rd parameter for? there u say AGAIN if u use udp or tcp? wat if u said in 2nd para SOCK_DGRAM and in 3rd para IPPROTO_UDP ??
i ment what woudl happen if u typed in 2nd: SOCK_DGRAM and in 3d para: IPPROTO_TCO
not TCO i mean TCP lol sry

For educational purposes, i want to create my own “socket library”.
So, instead using Microsoft’s WinSock, i use my own.
I think i have the necessary knowledge of C\C++ and ASM.
Is it possible, has anyone tried this before?

I am in student accommodation, and so have an ethernet socket on my wall – I want to connect my router to this to act as an ethernet hub and broadcast a wireless signal. The only input seems to be a phoneline socket. Is there any way to do this?
