I have Ekiga Softphone (both the software and a registered account). I’d like to be able to call my friends’ Skype accounts. I’ve searched the web and apparently it is possible to do so (it isn’t free of charge, but that’s OK by me). However, I am a newbie to the entire Internet telephony scene and I have no idea how to go about it. If someone could give me some step-by-step instructions I’d be most grateful. Thanks!

I heard that if you somehow combine Skype with another program, you can make free unlimited out-going VOIP calls to landlines. Please tell me what that software is and how I link that with Skype. (or if you know a free unlimited VOIP program, let me know) Thanks
