Setting up a wireless repeater?
I’m currently running DSL through Embarq. My connection runs through a phone line, into the outdated DSL modem, and then the ethernet on the back of the modem is connected to the Internet port on the back of a Netgear wpn824v2. I have an Ethernet Wall-Plugged Bridge connected to the first LAN port, my desktop to the second, and my Xbox 360 to the third. Following the Bridge, it goes upstairs and on the other side of the house. From there it plugs into the wall, and the Cat5 runs up to a WNDR3300. From that I have a Cat5e running to my other Xbox 360 upstairs, and a second Cat5 sitting out of the second port in case I need to connect my laptop to it to change settings on the router. What I am trying to do is extend the range of the Wireless G network from the WPN824v2 upstairs using the WNDR3300, and because the 3300 is Dual-Band, it will also broadcast N as well for just the upstairs or however the range reaches. I’ve tried using the Wireless Repeating Mode on the WNDR3300 but it doesn’t do anything except render the router useless until I reset it from the back with a paperclip. Can anybody help me as to how to properly set up my wireless network, or if I have the proper equipment? Any help is greatly appreciated.
Setting up WebMail on Thunderbird
When you use free email services like Hotmail, Gmail, etc. They want you to access your inbox through their site to cram you with ads. They have no POP/IMAP servers you can connect to with Thunderbird/Outlook/etc. Now with Thunderbird and WebMail, you can! (I sound like an ad XD ) WebMail Addons: webmail.mozdev.org *** Sadly, you cannot SEND emails using this. Sorry for not including that.

I have a Linksys N Ultra range router. It is up and running and can be found but neither of my computers nor my phone will connect to it. The password is right, so I am guessing that I made the security too high. I chose the highest setting. How can I change this?

How to configure email account in Outlook 2010 / Setting up Outlook 2010
www.codetwo.com This video shows how to quickly configure an email account in Outlook 2010. Even though, Microsoft Outlook 2010 has a built-in tool for automatic email account configuration, it takes about 3 minutes to configure this account. What is more, Outlook usually configures IMAP account (eg when you want to auto-configure Gmail account) and cannot create POP3/SMTP account. With this free tool from CodeTwo, the configuration of my account took 10 seconds. CodeTwo Outlook AutoConfig works with Outlook 2010, 2007, 2003, 2000, Windows Mail, Windows Live Mail and Outlook Express. Learn more on: www.codetwo.com www.codetwo.com
Setting up a network for an office enviroment that involves mutiples tenants?
I own a office building with 8 tenants, each from different companies and organizations. We want to provide free internet access to each client as a perk of the building. Each room is already wired with cat5 cable and leads to our storage room.
I was planning on buy a commercial high speed package and a router. However how do I prevent tenant A from trying to access tenant B’s files. I know they can turn sharing off on their computer, but will that prevent them from accessing each others files if someone gets nosy? (someone local told me have one big router and then 8 smaller routers – one for each company – is that even workable or feasible)
Also should I go with static ips instead of dynamic? Any idea would be appreciated to make this work.
