I was connecting fine for 6 months and now I get an error that says my password must not be correct

I experienced loud crackling noise on my phone. Phone company repair man came out and tested good to my 8th floor junction box, but not to my 8th floor apartment. He said there were 4 pairs of wires available. He previously jumped from Pair #1 to #2 on similar complaint. Now he is jumping from #2 to #3. I have one last pair left. He suggested moisture and water in wire conduits causing copper to rust, then, when lit up, rust turns to “copper tarnish” which degrades signal. But while my phone stopped working (no dialing in and out), ADSL for Internet access still works. Do I really need to pull out old wiring as he suggested or is there another simpler remedy? Also, if there are bridge taps (wires branched out to various other rooms in the apartment), do I need to look for a junction box in my wall before pulling the wires out?

I know that there are many svchost.exe’s in your computer, and know their purpose.
One of them is taking up 50 cpu, and I don’t know why. The services under that particular svchost are:

I spend a small fortune speaking to a mobile in another country and am looking at ways to use the pc to call a mobile using VOIP. I don’t know if I could, nor am I sure if I got an answer whether it would make a lot of sense to me as I am a little unsure of the jargon people use these days. I have read on Skype about VOIP but don’t fully understand it.

I have been trying to connect my pocket pc to my computer for a long time now but was never successfull. My computer would always restart when trying to connect it. After a process of elimination, i have come to the conclusion that the DHCP service is causing the problem. Microsoft activesync (the pocket pc synving program) uses the DHCP service.

Does anybody know why my computer restarts if i either stop and start or restart the DHCP service..

im trying to set up wireless for my 360 you see….there is a way you can do it where you set it up to your laptop and use the wireless from it which is great because i dont exactly have 100 bucks to burn on an adapter (the xbox was a gift) so any help in this regard would be great.
