Need help with computer dell desktop windows 7?
well i have a dell desktop with windows 7 and im trying to get mac address or physical address but once i type ipconfig /all this comes up 00-00-00-00-00-00-00-E0 and i was trying to set my xbox live up and said he couldn’t help unless i had the physical address any ideas on how to get it or can i like just erase my whole network setting or something

I’m trying to send pictures to a friend, but it is asking for my e-mail server (incoming and outgoing).

I have my ethernet cable plugged into my computer which has a network adapter to connect to a D-Link router in another room. I’m trying to connect to Xbox Live with this setup and the following message occurs:

“Your DNS servers can’t resolve the names of Xbox Live server or Xbox.com”

pop3 imap and smtp servers for hotmail/windows live mail ? what are they and can it be set up in thunderbird ?

I’m running WireShark, but I’m not picking anything up from it across the WiFi network. Does it revert to only using EDGE when you check your mail? (that would be security enough for me)

windows vista. I can surf the web with no problem. i can download anything. windows update works. but things like online games such as poker and world of warcraft i cant connect. Ive tried every firewall tip i could find on the web. Im using windows firewall. ive tried all the ipconfig commands suggested on the web including: netsh int ip reset reset.log, netsh winsock reset catalog, ipconfig /flushdns, ipconfig /registerdns,ipconfig /release, ipconfig /renew. Ive downloaded and tried winsockfix. when running winsockfix i get this; 1) Registry Import Information not Found
and then after it finished. 2) Run-time error ’53′:File not found. I tried an online virus scanner but of course i cant connect Any suggestions?

I want to run 2 dhcp servers in a linux machine with 2 NIC cards. each server for each card. the Ip address of each card was in different VLAN…..

Also is there some place that lists all the email providers servers protacols?

I have a fiber optic backbone connecting 2 buildings together.

In each building is approximately 4-5 subnets.
