I’ll try to explain my problem as best as I can.

I used system restore on my computer to fix a computer problem unrelated to the internet matter. Anyways after the system restore, the network icon on my pc said network cable unplugged. The computer’s operating system is Vista Home

I have tried a few things to fix it like reinstalling the drivers for my network card, and checking to see if the configurations are right. I’ve also tried another system restore to fix it, but to no avail.

I read online to try running the command prompt as administrator and typing in
Netsh winsock reset
Netsh int ipv4 reset
Netsh int Ipv6 reset

However, the last two commands keep saying access denied.

I am sure the modem is not broken because I am using the same modem on the laptop I am typing from. The modem is a westell 6100 if that helps, and the data light wont come on for my other pc, but will for this one. I have also tried power cycling.

“Trying to log in to the IMAP server has failed, please make sure the username and password are correct. If you continue, you may not be able to receive mail.” What is the username/password combination I have to type in? Where do I get it from? PLEASE HELP. I already looked at the apple page and it didn’t help!

well about a week ago i was trying to get on xbox live when it stopped working all of a sudden, i am connected with a ethernet cord from my laptop to my xbox 360 and i have a wireless adapter upstairs… comes to find out i checked my public area connection has a invalid IP address… so i was wondering how you could fix the invalid IP address on the public area connection… this is my network connection details: Connection-specific DNS Suffix:

I’m trying to do homework, so this is an emergency. My internet keeps failing in the middle of me doing something, and when i try to connect to the internet again, it takes forever then says PPPoE server not found, or something like that, and the internet just won’t work. I’m freaking out, can anyone help me? It only works for a while if i repeatedly restart the computer, which is too much trouble.

cable not connected. But all the cables are connected. The company trying to set me up is GoodTelCom out of Korea using their cp-100 phone. I need this set up for a job and the company I am working for only uses this company for their VOIP so I cann’t change providers. Any help would be appriciated.
