I stumbled upon this online survey that has me install this bar at the top of my computer called the “keynote connector”. So I decided to try it. Then near the end (I think), it tells me to make a purchase with my Paypal account through the Dell website and buy a Belkin CAT5e cable with it (which costs $4.99, plus like $5-$5.99 shipping. It says that they will reimburse me the money and pay me a $10 incentive for completing the survey. The survey was about Paypal. Has anyone tried this and is it legit? (It looks legit, but I am a little iffy with things like that). Thanks!

The version I have for Windows XP won’t install on Win 7. Does anybody know where I can obtain a later release that is compatible with Win 7?

I’m thinking of rewiring my house with Cat6 and adding data ports at every phone jack. No problem, done this type of job a dozen times before. However, I would like to add wi-fi capability so I can sign up with a service.

I’m not real familiar with outdoor antennae. The tower is about 5.5 to 6 miles away with a range of 10 miles. What antenna would you recommend? One coworker suggested a rod or panel type with 19dBi gain. Is there a particular manufacturer or specific model that seems to work well?

We will soon need to replace our current router, as it’s not functioning properly. There are so many out there to choose from that I don’t know where to start, and the store clerks aren’t exactly helpful, and usually try to steer you toward something bigger (and thus more expensive) than you really need. Anyone have any guidance for me? This is for home use, with 2, maybe 3 computers being used.

I need to know where to connect the wire. I’ve heard it goes on the network adapters that are on the back of the computer. I just want to make sure.
