My ADSL modem has only one RJ-11 port that connects it to the phone line,My new router requires an Ethernet port in the modem which is not available,can I use an adapter? or do I need a new modem?

I have a DSL Internet connection, which works fine. However, when I turn on my computer, I get also a dial-up connection box that reads >select the service you want to connect to< . When I click on the >cancel< button for this message, another box appears that reads >Connecting to Broadband Connection 2. Connecting to WAN miniport (PPPOE)< . Clicking on >cancel< yet again for this second box brings up a third box that reads >Cannot Connect to Broadband Connection 2. Error 815<.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of the annoying connection-box messages?

My Internet uses PPPoE andI bought an Airport Express a few months ago and I configured it and stuff in my iMac, BUT when I try to listen to music through it.. it just doesn’t work! however, when I connect it to the router and to the loudskeaker it does play music. (I figured this out after many hours)
