Are there any strong research studies that support this genotoxic claim that high exposure to RF affects the sex of your future offsprings?

I have a person that works in two separate offices as a manager. Each office is in a separate location, dev pool, partition…etc, and each has a different directory number. The current manager will switch locations on a regular basis and wants to have it so it doesn’t matter if one or the other line is called, it will ring in either office. Presumably, a new person will soon be hired to take over as manager in one or the other office, so I don’t want to implement sharing the lines between offices, because although that might be the easiest solution, it’s not good to have lines from different partitions appearing all over the network on devices in other partitions…it could quickly become a mess.

So, I’d just like to have both numbers ring at the same time when one or the other is called. I was looking at line groups and hunt lists, but don’t want to create a new hunt pilot number that people have to remember to call, or they’d have to change the directory listing.

Can someone recommend a PBX for my needs? I have a home office with one incoming land line. I don’t what to change my phone plan nor my number. But I’d like to have an automated attendant that I can record (e.g. “Thank you for calling Acme Anvil Co. For Eric, press 1. For Samantha, press 2) and then be able to connect the wired telephones that I already have to “line one” and “line 2.” I’m not worried about a high volume of calls, so the one incoming line is fine.
I definitely don’t want a PC or software-based system – A simple standalone box is fine. (I don’t need VOIP or cordless handsets, detailed data on the calls, or anything complex). thanks

Can’t we just use cell phones? Who wants a desk phone these days? There must be a way to buy a plan where you can transfer phone calls to each other, and maybe even have an auto-attendant feature, right? If anyone has used cell phones instead of a PBX, I would love to know what you used and how well it worked. Thanks!

IP packets to be transmitted, —— CAN BE MANAGED FROM THE HUB OR FROM LOCAL LAN VIA [- Web interface, – Telnet, – SNMP (option), EASY TO UPGRADE SW [- By administrative user via TFTP, – From the Hub via TFTP or Multicast, —— INDUSTRY STANDARD IP STACK [- IP, ARP, ICMP, TCP, IGMP, TFTP client, Telnet server, DHCP Server on local LAN, – Options for SNMP management, NAT, and GRE tunnels on the Air Interface., —— PREPARED TO INTERFACE WITH INDUSTRY STANDARD LNBS AND TRANSMITTERS [ – Enhanced DiSEqC support enabling very accurate control of the ODU output power, when used together with the integrated power detector in the Nera SatLink 3000 transmitter, —— COMPACT DESIGN (size of a lap-top)
I got a very good answer from SGT Rock. I appreciate that. I would like to stay away from another router. Want to keep the LAN implementation simple as many of the guys in my company are aircraft technicians.

The modem my family has had for a while (which, I believe, we rent from Comcast) stopped working recently. My brother went out and bought a new one, but now our home phones don’t work. The new modem does not have a place to plug in a phone like the old one, so the phone is still connected (uselessly) to that one. The old one is a Touchstone Telephony Modem and the new, a Motorola Surfboard SB 5101. Is there any way to fix the phone dilemma without buying yet another modem? Any insight would be appreciated.

I am working in technology this year……still learning. Does anyone know when you have a brand new ip phone straight out of the box, set it up on pc, how do I get an ip address to enter in the phone for the extension I want? When I enter an ip address, it says ip address conflict (guessing this one is already being used). I know that when you change phones, you have to reset it and enter the ip address then. I went to configure, services, ip telephony, ip terminals, nortel, ip term status tab, this is where I am stuck. Normally I write down ip # on ext I want, but don’t know it.

I am starting a small business with 2 partners. They want us to buy some kind of mini PBX for a business phone system. I say–no way. Thanks!
