I bought a ps3 and call of duty. I also have a router. So i play on my WiFi and it starts to freeze alot.I want to know what should i do to play on WiFi without the PS3 glitching,freezing or buffering.
P.S:should i buy a wire(cat5) to connect my router with my PS3 or is there any other ways

Everything I find is in German and I can’t read German. I can’t figure out how to get online at home. I have my modem and the green lights for “power” “DSL” and “LAN” are on. No green light for “Online”. I follow through the screens in German to enter all my info but then when I press “Internet verbinden” (I think…) I still can’t get onto websites. The orange light where I plug the CAT5 cable into my laptop is flashing like it does when I am online. How do I get online or where can I find answers to this problem in English?

Ive restarted my Modem and my Router, but only my computer reaches the internet. I want to be able to play Xbox Live and be on the computer(internet) at the same time. i just persuaded my dad to pay 100 pounds towards my macbok for me, he says is that all it because i wont be happy if i have to buy something for it, THEN i realised have ADSL (wired) what do i have to do/buy to get i online?

i need to spend as minimal as possible money!

Last year I got a linksys router and every time I play online I lag, and it doesnt seem like it has a strong connection. When i try to do multiple tasks at a time involving the internet, it isnt able to do that without really slowing down the internet.

I play a lot of “Call of Duty” on the [PS3] and I took some action to get a faster internet connection (i had a slow one before).
I got a new router(netgear rangemax) and a cat6 ethernet connection

So I took tests and I got
Download rate: 20mbps
Upload rate: 2mbps
Ping: 38
Jitter: 1
Packet Loss: (for some reason, it shows up as “Unable to test Packet Loss”), i dont know why.
Line Quality: B
MOS: 4.33

I understand some of what those means, and I understand that
the lower the ms and jitter, the less lag.

So how do i decrease ping? and not lag and enjoy gaming?
Overall, i kind of need a breakdown on each stat above.

When i play, I ocassionaly get the lag. but otherwise, it’s definately playable,
i just want to see if I can make it better.

512kbps is the highest speed in our country but I cant get it because its too expensive for me the price is 1500 USD for activation and monthly is 130 so Is 128kbps enough to get online and play ? Thanks.

I stumbled upon this online survey that has me install this bar at the top of my computer called the “keynote connector”. So I decided to try it. Then near the end (I think), it tells me to make a purchase with my Paypal account through the Dell website and buy a Belkin CAT5e cable with it (which costs $4.99, plus like $5-$5.99 shipping. It says that they will reimburse me the money and pay me a $10 incentive for completing the survey. The survey was about Paypal. Has anyone tried this and is it legit?
