Basically my friend is trying to use his laptop and try to connect to my cricket broadband while I’m using it on my desktop but it is asking him for a username/password? How do i get this since i don’t need it to connect to my desktop?

I am currently 26 and going back to school to receive a dual MBA/Management Information Systems degree. What is the process? Do I become certified as a CCNP, work for a few years, and then become certified? I was a teacher, but would like to know if I’m not too late to enter the IT field and pursue these certifications.

With the four ethernet ports used up, I was wondering if I can connect a router to my wireless router to obtain more ports or if there were any other possible solutions.

I used to work for MCI Telecommunication in Linticum Md in 1996. The IRS is saying I did not file my MD state taxes & I still owe.I need to know how to obtain a W2 from this company that’s no longer located in Linticum,Maryland so that I can file state taxes for that year

i have this sofware called workbooth i nee dot run it down for a job as i need to assews my computer anyway i load it with no problwm get to the screemn and when i press “start shift” it comes up with DHCP unable to obtain IP adress thisis annoying as i nee dto access the teletech server to have my project code. thank you for your help .

(DHCP)..is there any differents? whats the use of ARP (via command prompt)? or it wil just add my ip address to the arp table?

At work, we use a windows server 2003 environment with our own DHCP and DNS Servers. We have some group policies in place but they hardly place any restrictions on users being able to get around the network.

Now when I first use a Vista computer before it is added to the Active Directory Domain, DHCP works flawlessly. However, after adding it to the domain DHCP stops working completely. A network sniff shows that communication is happening between the DHCP server and the Vista computer, and that the DHCP server is even offering an IP address, yet the Vista computer doesn’t seem to take it. When I give the Vista computer a Static IP address, however, it works just fine. Any ideas would be appreciated.
IPCONFIG doesn’t seem to work. I get a “Access is Denied” message when trying to release or renew.
