I use VOIPCHEAP.com which I find better than SKYPE.

I thought it was tx5000 something thousand. you can only get one signing up for a 5 year contract for $99. it looks like a little 1 inch by one inch by 3 inch box with a cat5 on one end and an rj22 on the other. you plug it into your router and you get a phone line, no software required. what is the name of this device/web site?

I am trying to find out information on the networks hospitals use including connectivity of the network and how information is stored or sent to users. I would also like to know what kind of physical equipment (telecommunications) the staff uses to keep in touch. Also it would be useful to find data on the day to day routines of a hospital staff. I am trying to do this for a school project so any help would be appreciated.

I wanted to buy the Belkin N1 vision wireless router, but it’s for cable broadband and I have ADSL. I have had several problems with routers in the past and want one that performs well (I download quite a lot via P2P) and looks good like the N1 vision.

I work for a small telecommunications company and i am wondering if there is any way for me to take professional looking pictures of telephone handsets to use in training manuals with a normal digital camera? The pictures should have a plain background with minimal light reflection (The handsets have quite a glossy finish) and good detail (Similar to all of the everyday images of mobile phones etc on any website). Can anyone offer any advice?

For example..my cat5e cable is running through a modem and im looking to add it to another room to connect to pc and xbox 360. wireless modem not an option. also, i dont want to have to buy 2 50 foot cables just to connect the devices. I just want one 50 foot cable to connect to an adapter that will allow me to use 2 5 foot cat5e cables to connect to pc and xbox. Just looking for something like how telephone adapters split the phone like to make 2 jacks. Thanks.

I’m thinking of rewiring my house with Cat6 and adding data ports at every phone jack. No problem, done this type of job a dozen times before. However, I would like to add wi-fi capability so I can sign up with a service.

I’m not real familiar with outdoor antennae. The tower is about 5.5 to 6 miles away with a range of 10 miles. What antenna would you recommend? One coworker suggested a rod or panel type with 19dBi gain. Is there a particular manufacturer or specific model that seems to work well?

I’m connecting Panasonic KX-TES824 PBX to Windows Vista machine. The PBX has has old drivers up to Windows XP. It would not work.

My small nonprofit business is seeking an inexpensive PBX or auto-attendant system. We had a system called TOKTUMI, which was great, until they launched an Iphone application and they grew so quickly that they were unable to handle the volume, resulting in continuous periods of completely lost phone service, which a small business such as ours can’t afford.
