I have a linkcheck from smartronix but it only tells me if a drop is hot. I would like a small tool to pull an IP so I know the VLAN the drop is on so I don’t have to carry around a laptop. I know Fluke makes a $500+ model but I was looking for somthing cheaper

i dont know what all these settings are for ppp on demand, ATM circuit identifier, ATM Encapsulation, Force Upstream MTU. ive been haveing to reset my 2wire alot mabye its junk? what can i do to make sure i have a good connection all the time?

i want to know do i need a dsl modem because only thing i got is a telephony modem and a regular modem

I have an old unused ADSL 502T D-Link router at home.
I have cable internet connection on my pc connected via chord
I wanted to know whether i can use the router connecting that chord to the router and connect router using usb to pc(and will it affect the speed or will boost it?)
And plz give my step-by-step procedure how 2 setup,how 2 config everything..

My DSL-322T ADSL modem is having a problem. The ethernet connection is not working.But I can connect to internet via USB connection.Ethernet connection light is off. Otherwise modem is OK.How can I find out whether it is a modem problem or my computer’s ethernet connection problem and how to remedy it

I dont know what to do with this? Is this why it keeps reconnecting and restarting? Cause I can not keep a stable connection for more than 1 hour as of right now.
