I have a BSNL broadband connection. I need to check whether I have exceeded the download limits or not . Can anybody out there help me?

My sister is using up a lot of bandwidth (we have 2mbps upgrading soon) on the computer resulting in lag on my xbox live games. I want to limit her to about 400kbps, i am admin on everything ? How do i do this ? I have a Dynamode RADSL-C4W-EG, she is ethernet port 2. I am number 1. Incase thats relevant =)

I have a 256 kbps Internet connection and several users. I want to put an upper limit of bandwidth usage by the users. I want to implement this strategy in my company. Can you tell me the name of the Cisco Switch which can efficiently do this and also allow VLANs and VTP (both dot1q and isl)?

I have had a 10GB monthly download limit on my broadband for a while, but yet It never seems to stop, I play allot of games online and watch allot of youtube videos in the highest quality. And I know ive used over 10GB as I can check in my routers settings its well over 3 times that. But my internet is still going.

We are replacing a hodgepodge of equipment for a shared office space with Cisco equipment.
We have a 25 meg Internet connection that we want to share among 25 Vlans which will have 4 users per vlan. We want to give some vlans higher speed Internet than others. We have not purchased hardware yet so feel free to include hardware recommendations.

What is the maximum cat6 cable run in optimum conditions?

I used Vista tcpip.sys and UAC Auto Patcher v2.2 from http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/02/17/download-vista-tcpipsys-and-uac-auto-patcher-to-increase-tcp-connection-limit/…. and set the connection limit to 50,000 in the registry editor and I am still getting the 4226 error in the event viewer whenever I search for music in Soulseek.

I was wondering what I should do to keep this from happening. Should I increase the limit more or try to reapply the patch or something?

But that they don’t realize it, and I don’t have to pay that?

When itry to connect limewire it doesnt work i tried to un/reinstall nothin works when i opened the Eventviwer i found a Warning on id 4226(yellow Triangel).
i scanned for possible viruses or malwares or….. but the pc is clean everything is running well exept the P2P share programs and here is the error message

I am using Windows XP professional and I have a network of 12 computers. I’m using one computer essentially as the “server” for a MSSQL database with other computers on the network accessing the data from it.

Any computer past the initial 10 computers that tries to access a program (that uses the MSSQL database in question) gets rejected, bounced, with the error message:

“\\server is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. No more connections can be made to this remote computer at this time because there are already as many connections that the computer can accept.”

I have already looked at this supposed patch: http://www.lvllord.de/ (Update of TCPIP.SYS), but I can’t get it to work, i.e. raise the number of computer connections allowable under Windows XP professional. Some chat sites seem to imply that this is a feasible item, please tell me if so.
