Small company using outlook on exchange server. If we disconnect from the exchange server and switch to imap with another host, will we lose messages already in outlook inbox or will they stay with the program after the switch?

All the correct lights are flashing on my modem and router but it just doesn’t send out a connection. And yes ive trying turning it off for 10 minutes. Any ideas on how to fix it. I have a desktop computer and multiple wireless items that need a wireless signal. Ive got my router, modem, and computer hooked up corectly because it had been working fine for about 4 months.

I live in an apartment building, have Windows XP, connect through a cable that’s plugged into the wall but it’s definately not dial up. How do I connect to the internet again? I tried setting up a PPPoE connection, which is what I think it is, but it’s still not working. Because I rebooted my system using the CD’s my computer came with, do I need to do something different to get my internet working again? >_<
I know how to get to the connection wizard, I’m more unsure of what to do from there…
Also, my cousins computer connects to the same internet service. She has a mac, but it says under her connections drop down menu that it has built in ethernet and that it is PPPoE…

My boyfriend’s computer connects just fine. I have tried connecting directly to the source, but that doesn’t matter. I have tried the whole /renew /release or whatever in the command prompt. I am using my Dell laptop and running Windows Vista. It was working fine for a couple months and then just a few weeks ago, stopped being able to connect. Out of nowhere. It works everywhere else, in both secure and non-secure connections. Did the whole winsock thing. Pretty much did a lot of the simple things people suggested. Here is what shows when I type ipconfig, (or some of it. picked out parts)

I am starting a small business with 2 partners. They want us to buy some kind of mini PBX for a business phone system. I say–no way. Can’t we just use cell phones? Who wants a desk phone these days? There must be a way to buy a plan where you can transfer phone calls to each other, and maybe even have an auto-attendant feature, right? If anyone has used cell phones instead of a PBX, I would love to know what you used and how well it worked. Thanks!

I have a weird problem, my PC shows Im connected and my IM program works and my anti-virus updates so my internet is working but my internet explorer isn’t working it just says cannot display the web page. now I tried downloading fire fox and that dint work and I tried opera also and that has the same message “cannot display the web page” spyware doc and avast and norton and anti malware I tried everything. I even tried repairing the windows folder with the win xp CD and re-installing the service packs. I tried system restore I tried regedit to check if there is anything loded in the startup that isnt suppose to be there and I even tried without anti-virus and with the firewall disabled. all the other PC’s work fine but this one wont. its a sony laptop running XP home. I am just about out of options. has anyone had the same problem? all my programs can access the internet for updates but I cant browse the net, I tried most internet browsers like firefox and opera etc. Please help me. Im going crazy here! Any Idea of whats going on? Oh and I checked the firewall and that’s fine also. I tried winsock repair and it got my email to work again but I still cant browse. it just happed like 2 days ago when I went home it was working and the next day it wouldnt go. the PC is connedted to the internet 24 hours a day and it never gets switched off. could it have come through a windows update? If only I knew what it was. I did a ping to www.google.co.uk and it sent and recieved all the packets fine. please save me from smashing it

So I have Sony Vaio Laptop running XP professional with IE 7, as well as Firefox. Whenever I visit Realtor.com and click on a house my internet conncection is dropped and will not work again without fully rebooting. The wireless connection signal remains strong, and clicking to “repair” the internet conncection does not change anything. Closing and reloading the browser doesn’t work, it just says page cannot be displayed. Oddly, the same thing happens if I browse the site from Firefox as well. I even tried turning off the wireless connection and using an ethernet cable, same thing happens. I tried replacing my winsock files using “winsockxpfix” utility. I have cleared my index.dat files with privacy guardian. The only site I have found that does this is realtor.com I have no idea what to do next and am really annoyed. Any advice?????

Ok, in order for a certain job protocol to work I had to change my netopia broadband modem to a BRIDGE. Now I connected my first linksys router, entered pppoe info. and presto worked fine. But when I try to add another router to the netopia I can’t get the second router to work….router 1 continues to work fine, but the second one just won’t work … what am I missing?
