I have a Adtran Atlas 550 chassis, it has the following info listed on itPN. 1200305L2 ACN 095 316 402 CSU DSU
according to the paperwork, the AdTran Atlas 550 offers the highest capacity most advanced set of networking services. From a single platform, ATLAS can support multiple technologies including T1, T3, and ISDN. IT managers and network engineers networks may choose ATLAS for its ISDN conversion and oversubscription features, ISDN PRI/BRI switching, multiple T1/PRI DACSing and grooming, T3.
The one I have has been damaged by fire and i want to by the exact same item UNLESS you can tell me what would be better, is there any other telecom unit offering a multi-T1/PRI enterprise platform converges voice, data, video, and Internet traffic through circuit switching and call processing. I need a multi-T1 IAD, 1/0 DACS, /w ISDN switch with switchboard support, circuit switching, intelligent call routing. it must also Support E1, PRA, and BRI S/T interfaces Net-3 and Net-5 Euro-ISDN protocols with hot swappable modules.
So, is the Adtran Atlas 500 my best bet or not?
