my laptops are connected to the internet by wi- fi, but not the desktop. so if i unplug the ethernet cable, will the internet speed on the laptops increase?

i want to boot clients over the network to install a os onto them.. but i dont want to use a dhcp/pxe server. How can i pull a image from my jumpsytart server to my x86 clients, Iam using solaris grub based installation cd to create a jumstart server,

i dont know what all these settings are for ppp on demand, ATM circuit identifier, ATM Encapsulation, Force Upstream MTU. ive been haveing to reset my 2wire alot mabye its junk? what can i do to make sure i have a good connection all the time?

I want to use the ethernet cable for my ps3 but my router has only one connection and its connected to the computer. What would happen if i disconnect the ethernet cable of my computer. Would the internet cut off of my computer and start all over with the connection or if I put it back would it stay there and nothing would had happen. I need some help please.

I was living in Holand 5 years ago. I had a contract with a mobile telephony provider and then I left the country and did not pay the contract for the rest 6 months. Now I want to go back and I wonder what can happen? And what is the worst it can happen!! The total amount was around $200. Thanks!
