I just got an XBOX 360 and I can’t figure out how to download my media onto my XBOX hard drive from the computer. I hooked up my 360 to the back of my computer where I would usually hook up the CAT5 cable to go to the modem. I opened Windows Media 11 and turned media sharing on but my XBOX still won’t find my computer. If it helps I have a router I can hook my 360 and computer up to if I need to.

I need a step by step walkthrough telling me what to do. 10 points to whoever figures it out first.

My service provider Sky say up to 20mb wirelessly, can I expect similar speeds through the cable?

my computer give message”network cable unplugged” i have broadband router and ADSL. all computers in the network working perfectly except mine. i try new Ethernet and new cable also i install windows several times. but nothing changed. please help me

A while back there was a whole lot of advertising from broadband companies in the UK where if you sign up to their broadband packages you get a free laptop as well. Are any of these still going? I know AOL is still doing it but who are the rest?

my adapter failed and I bought a new adapter. but now I don have any idea what is the output voltage to be set. there are different options from 5 to 12 Volts. I don have previous adapter to see what was the voltage. Any help will be appreciateed.

They give me a modem so the connection goes like this:

Telephone line——>Adsl Modem——USB CABLE—–>PC

Now I bought a wireless router, and I want to:

Tel Line–>Adsl–USB Cable—>Wireless router

So the main problem here is that the modem the company give me, instead of having an ethernet port so I can connect it to the pc via ethernet cable, it have a USB cable that I connect to a USB port in my pc and that provide my pc of internet.

I’m curious… What Ethernet cable will give me the best results when connecting from the modem to the router? From cable modem to router should I use a regular Ethernet cable or cross-over? And then from router to Xbox 360? And from router to Laptop? I’m looking for the BEST results, not recommendation. Thanx!
