Please help. W have a broadband connection and our computer currently does not detect a default gateway. Please advise what steps I could do to try and restore our connection. I have tried netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt, netsh winsock reset, disabling and enabling LAN, uninstalling and reinstalling NIC.. I know there are still things I can do, please help me…

Or are they in the same range? It’s the default IP of my router…

I need to know this information and maybe a link where I can find further information

I cannot ping the gateway, but I am able to ping my DHCP, DNS which is not on my local network. So technically I used the gateway to get to the DHCP and DNS. What’s is wrong with my connection? I think I am using a Cisco 3550 switch.

My display adaptor is NVIDIA GeForce 8200, Generic PnP Monitor, Network Adaptors are NVIDIA n Force 10/100/1000 MBPS Network, AMD Phenom 8550 Triple Core Processor with a Hybrid ATSC/Qam PCI-e AVS, NVIDIA HDMI Audio, Realteck High Def Audio. I have no idea what all that means, but, could I use this monitor as a remote tv?
And what is it good for? Seems extreme for a computer monitor doesn’t it?

Dude it specifically says that you can run it on intel based hardware on there page and shows a Intel core 2 duo aswell!!!

Hii Everyone…. I’m working on designing a LAN for an organisation which needs telephones connections, So, is it possible to connect PBX to gateway router such that i can use voIP services to my network??

I would like to know if it is possible to use the voice modem on my computer as voip gateway between the pstn. i have seen several reference in the net that allow you to implement an answering machine with stuff like vgetty. shoulding such integration be possible in the light of this.

I was going to use Asterisk and set up my own IP-PBX but, I will still need a SIP gateway provider? And, that costs money.

I guess the real question, is there anyway I can set my system up so I can make free internet phone calls over the internet? Anyway around the SIP gateway provider.

I am having a hard time connecting to internet.
The problem started after I installed a software know as HAMACHI (its a VPN).
I uninstalled the software but I still can’t connect to the web. The only thing that is working is a desktop sharing software known as TEAMVIEWER. This is the only software that can connect to the web. I checked using the IPCONFIG command in CMD and found that my DEFAULT GATEWAY field is blank. Here is the report:

I have a HP D1460 Deskjet for which i have 2 pc’s. (both of these computers share an ADSL gateway). I would like to connect this printer to one of these pc’s and be able to print something off from the other one. I would also like to be able to access the other computers files from the other pc. Any help with this please?
