I’m on a broadband connection now, without restrictions on how much you use it and how much download, and want to switch to a limited one, and for that I need to know how much data i am “using” each month. How can i find that out? Thanks.

I recently formatted my Insignia Desktop computer.
I lost most of my drivers but the one I cannot find anywhere (not even in the insignia website) is the ethernet controller driver.
I don’t have any internet on that computer beacuse of that.
Does anyone have a link to download the dirver?

I have a Sky Broadband router and a Inspiron 1525 laptop. I know that my laptop is 802.11n but I keep getting the message “the capability of your network adapter does not match the requirements of this network” anyone know how I can find out?

Everything I find is in German and I can’t read German. I can’t figure out how to get online at home. I have my modem and the green lights for “power” “DSL” and “LAN” are on. No green light for “Online”. I follow through the screens in German to enter all my info but then when I press “Internet verbinden” (I think…) I still can’t get onto websites. The orange light where I plug the CAT5 cable into my laptop is flashing like it does when I am online. How do I get online or where can I find answers to this problem in English?

Im trying to open up my nat settings for my xbox but i cant remember the username and password to change the network/router settings. It’s a cisco router, one of the newer models
if you do reset it, does it only reset the username and password or does it screw everything, like the network, and wpa passwords?

I was wondering where I could find the Ethernet controller driver for my laptop. I bought the laptop used and I do not have the original cd and I have already visited the company website, but this driver is not listed. I have an emachines M5312. All help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

im trying to get xbox live and i measured where i need to get the cable and its just barely more than 100 feet. is there any certain store or place online that has cables longer than 100 feet. all the place around where i live only have the 100s. Will a longer cord make it any slower? is there any way to connect 2 ethernet cords together?

I just recently installed a fresh copy of windows xp and i need an ethernet controller driver in order to go online. Does anyone know where abouts i could find the one i need.

I have been able to set up port 8080 with a cable and disk ip. The broadband wireless provider claims not to be blocking any ports, but I can not find an open port. The router is a Linksys WRK54G. The firewall is open to this port. Any suggestions?

I saw this tutorial on wiring ethernet cables but the end I purchased for crimping did not come with “Loadbars”. When I searched for it in google nothing came up, are they called something else here in the U.K.

When i try to use the internet on my itouch, i need to know the password for my Sky broadband. I think it still has the default password. It isn’t ‘Sky’ because it says it needs to be 8 characters long… any help?

I’ve only been able to find Surge Protectors with only 1 Cat5 output. We have ATTs Uverse and we need it to connect our Xbox 360 to the connection AND provide adequate protection. Please don’t suggest we just buy a WiFi Adapter for the 360.

HTGURU- We saw the fourpair, but my husband shot that idea down. And on the second link, the outputs are not cat5 they are just regular phone/modem outputs. Thanks for the feedback regardless.
