How can I have extensions for each phone in my home?
I would like to have a phone system in my home, that allows people to dial an extension to reach a certain phone in my home. Do I need a PBX to do that? If so, where can I buy one for a low price?
Looking for a pbx system that uses cell phones as extensions.?
what im looking for is that when you call a land number it will give you a message such as ” You have reached the offices of such and such press 1 to Connect to Smith 2 to connect with Jones” But i want it to transfer to cell phones. I know it will take two or so phone lines but that’s ok… I don’t want a virtual number…I want it to use my analog number. Im searching pbx systems but i don’t even know what this feature would be called.
adsl and pstn ports and filters and extensions and broadband and stuff… click on my question please?
If i’ve got a normal adsl/pstn master socket downstairs, and have a pstn port upstairs, which i’m guessing is an extension off the master, will i be able to get broadband upstairs by just plugging a adsl adaptor/filter thingy in and then taking the lead from there to the computer or would it only be on dial up?

What is a cheapest and simplest way to set up phone extensions in an office (PBX)?
I don’t know much about PBX systems. Have a simple question. What would be the cheapest way to have one incoming line, with a greeting and 3-4 extensions for my sales people in the office. What used equipment would I need from Craigslist or eBay?
