I need to set up a Mail account on my Mac, and I want to be able to check on my Yahoo account (as well as my Cox account while my other computer is being repaired, long story, but I know that that uses POP3). But in the setup for Mail, it asks if you use POP, IMAP, or Exchange. I don’t know what any of these mean. I don’t want to get the paid version of Yahoo Mail, so if anyone can tell me what to set it to, as well as what address to use (will yahoo.com work?), your help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a mac and I dont know how to set up my yahoo account in mac mail.

I was on a contract which was;

-12gig
-ADSL
-no peaks
-shaping

I got about 150kB/s

I recently changed to the ADSL2+ 50 gig plan with Telstra Bigpond.
I’m now getting 600kB/s, using the same set up that came with the ADSL plan.
Is there any way I can get faster internet speeds?
I’m still using that ADSL splitter/filter? thing that came with the first contract

Mac Os X. Yahoo! email account currently. Anybody??

I’m trying to get my email going, but it only has an option for enterprise, which I don’t have. My university uses outlook online, and I think exchange. What do I do?

I setup outlook to use IMAP and can download the calendar and contacts but they show as mail folders and when I go to change to imp.appointment or imp.contacts it errors, how can I view those folders correctly using IMAP ?

I’m trying to be able to e-mail my movies with microsoft movie maker from my windows xp home edition HP2005 computer but I can’t because it is set on using microsoft e-mail accounts. I have tried to make the account on my control panel/ mail but I want to be able to e-mail it using yahoo. I’m very confused. Help!!!!
