MSN Explorer which I don’t think any one will use, I belive you will have to buy somethings I forget but you can download it if you want I will not provide it. 5. Other langue things which I thought took up space. If you cant speak english then this isn’t for you. 6. Other old or usless stuff which I cannot remmeber… oops …

This is probably an absurd question, but if you were to stand on or squeeze a water hose, that would affect the water pressure. So could doing the same to an ethernet cable slow down or cause errors in your computer’s internet connection?

I want to get a very strong internet connection to my xbox 360, but unfortunatly my router is 2 floors up! So somehow I need to get this ethernet cable from my top floor down to my finished basement. My mom would prefer me not drilling holes in the wall so is it possible for me to run it through a electrical plug if I take it out or something like that. Let me know, thanks!

My phone jacks r punched down to Cat5 plugs-phone svc starts next week – can I use phone w/ Cat5 plugs? I’m having standard phone service run to the house – all wiring internally is Cat5 – but I need to plug a standard phone into the wall – do I have to rewire one of the plates or can I plug a regular phone-jack into a Cat5 plug?

I just got this tool from China today and I need to attach the 8 Cat5 wires to the receptacle of a wall plate/keystone jack that I also purchased. This tool did not come with any instructions, does anyone know how to use it? There are no moving parts on it as far as I can tell, no scissor-like cutting, crimping, nothing.

I have a bunch of loose cat5 cables that are not connectorized to the RJ45 connectors. I’m looking for a patch panel, where I can punch down the little colored wires, and hook up the panel to modem. Please help. Thanks.

I have a 100 ft cat5 cable (i think the longest they come) from my back room where my router is to my xbox 360, but it isn’t quite long enough. I obviously use it for gaming so I was just checking to see if it would slow down the internet at all to put the connector there. Thanks!

I think telecommunication companies use large cables that are laid down in the ocean which allow for the communication over phone across the ocean between continents.

My question is, how is this done? Also, how do they know where in the ocean to drop the cable?
