In telecommunication, an optical time domain reflectometer (OTDR) is an optoelectronic instrument used to characterize an optical fiber.

An OTDR injects a series of optical pulses into the fiber under test. It also extracts, from the same end of the fiber, light that is scattered back and reflected back from points in the fiber where the index of refraction changes. (This is equivalent to the way that an electronic TDR measures reflections caused by changes in the impedance of the cable under test.) The intensity of the return pulses is measured and integrated as a function of time, and is plotted as a function of fiber length.

I need to create an email for a side business I have and I want an email for that business that does not end with @yahoo or @gmail etc.
I know Yahoo for small business offers a solution that seems real easy for like $30.00/year which seems reasonable, I am just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for a better or more cost efficient solution. I will need the email account to at least POP, IMAP would be preferable.

My Yahoo account uses the domain name of @pacbell.net but it’s still a Yahoo account. The iPhone forces a domain name of @yahoo.com! Is there a workaround for this? I’m sure that others (@sbcglobal.com, etc) are in the same boat!

My modem is Thomson Speed Touch 536. Wireless router – Trendnet TEW 411 BRP plus. The ill informed Singnet technical support unable to advise how to configure so that the router & modem can “talk”. Any SingNet Broadband customer knows?
Singnet fellas say try using Singnet Broadband or singnet.com.sg as the host or domain name but does not work for me still. It seems they are taught to configure Linksys or D Link routers only. Others they say they are not trained.
