What color should the light be on my router?
I am running an almost brand new Linksys WRT54G2 router and the light above the button in the middle of it that you push keeps turning orange. Should it be orange or green? I honestly can’t remember, I don’t pay that much attention to it!
Defective Cat5e wire. Color markings.?
I bought 1000′ feet of Cat5e. There is absolutely no color markings on the white wires which is making it a pain to crimp. Is this normal?
How do multi color (More than 3 color) LEDs work?
Haha, as a computer science/engineering student, I’m just curious, I know that a bi-color LED works by switching the direction of the current through the LED. However, I hear of products that use LEDs of multiple (3 or more) colors…how is that done? The only method I know of getting that to work would be to use a ton of bright, yet tiny LEDs and hook them up to a multiplexer that has the proper number of “selector inputs” for the outputs (that always has an signal input of 1 if one wants one of the LEDs to be lit)–I’m betting that’s not how it’s done though. So, how is it done?
I mean a logic 1 voltage, or the required voltage to run the LED.
Does it make losses if i connect 2 cat5 lines by connecting every wire with the other matching color?
i have a 65 meter cable and i want it to be 67…
can i join another cable by connecting every colored wire with the other matching wire?
The more important question is:
Will it attenuate the signal or develop losses?
