How can I set up my Thunderbird Mail Client to access my Yahoo mail account?
I have tried several times to set up this account, but I must not be entering the proper information into the setup wizard. I know Yahoo is an IMAP server, but I must not be entering the proper server address. Any suggestions?

Why does it still display users on my network client list when I have blocked them?
I have just blocked some people from next door from using my belkin router by going to Mac address filtering on my router settings. It still displays them on the DHCP client list though, so has the blocking not worked? Because I entered all the info correctly. Or does it just show them still? Please help.

Gmail IMAP Notification on the OLPC without eMail Client (live demo)
samphilomath.blogspot.com Email notification that use Gmail (Google Mail) IMAP or any other email services (Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL,etc….) rather they are using IMAP, POP3, etc… What make this so cool is you can set it to do anything you want when ever you got a new message. Anything! as long as you know the command line for what you want it to do. For the record, this is NOT Ubuntu, eeebuntu,Apple Mac, or whatever on the OLPC. This is the real face of the OLPC XO when you stop using “Sugar”. I used a solid green color as background on this vid but you can change to anything you like. Believe it. Linux Rocks!!!
Loading a binary file on a tcp/ip Client?
Hi,
I have a server application running on a computer, and i want to send a binary file to the server using a TCP/IP client application. Unfortunately I have used the hyperterminal’s winsock(Client) and some other applications, but non of them could send a binary file without formatting it into a text file and thus resulting in corruption of the file.
So if anyone knows of any TCP/IP client application which can transfer binary files kindly let me know.
Thanks
T
