Can I buy some books or training videos and sit a test or do I need to complete a course?
Where can I find out more inofmration?

I’m 16 and I want to get certified in networking, I hav th book and I’ve been studying but I need to know if i’m old enough to even qualify to take the exam.

For example, lets say I did CCNA and then went on to CCNP. From there I took the CCSP. Would that renew the CCNP and the CCNA or just the CCNA?

I have a building with three floors. Each floor has a 3560 switch that connects to a 4500 switch in the basement.

There is also a second link from the 3560s to the 4500 switch in case one link goes down.

So I was wondering if I can use both links and then if one link fails, then all the traffic can be routed using the other link.

Can I use HDLC WAN Encapsulation, and have a Cisco Router on one end and a Juniper at the other end?

Like for example saying Cisco on Texas Network and Juniper on Alabama’s Network? and HDLC for Encapsulation?

Assuming I did a training course what all would I be able to do with this?

I completed my B.Tech in electronics and communication.Now I intended to do networking course.Which course do you prefer for me?Which one has the maximum job opportunities?

I was wondering between Linux or Cisco which one would be a better career path to follow?

I’m trying to avoid buying it online and getting it shipped to me, cause that’s mad expensive. Cisco is elusive and my quest has been difficult.

We have a job applicant who appears to be a little sketchy and I want to verify that this is a legitimate CCNA.

I am a computer network major in my local Community College. I am about 6 months away from my AA degree in a Cisco based degree.

I was wondering are there any colleges out there that offer a computer networking 4 year degree that is CISCO BASED? (So my credits will transfer)

My router’s telnet session keeps expiring. So what we have to do is pay 100 dollars everytime we need it rebooted, because it is in a data center in Buffalo. Once it reboots we are able to telnet into it. So in order to capture why the telnet session is expiring system logging would be useful. How do I set that up? Thank you in advance.!

I have a Black 60 GB EEE PC with 2GB Ram and Wireless Capabilities.
I have a linksys router, It is connected to my internet modem.

I have 2 locations connected to my pix using IPSEC vpn. I need to two locations to talk to each other (using 4 digit dialing UDP).
How do I get the remote locations to talk to each other? New IPSEC rules at each location? Simple routing (ive tried)?
