Ok I have a laptop and want to know which to choose for my broadband wireless internet service? AT&T or Verizon? Which has the faster speed? I have already checked out the plans and they are both 59.99 a month, I know all the cost and every thing. I just want to know what experiences has anyone had with either company? Which do I choose?

I need some help on choosing a broadband access card.
Card #1: is $39.99 and it has 1,048,576 bytes.
Card #2: is $59.99 and it has 1,073,741,824 bits.
So someone help!!! I see the difference, but all I need the internet for is to check my email and myspace page.

I have two options at the moment. First one is LinkSYS AG241 model and the other one is D-LINK 2640 model. I would like to know which one is better and in which options ?

Well, I don’t live in US, I live in African francophone country, and I ‘m good student, especially in Maths, Physics and English & natural sciences too -just don’t appreciate the latter a lot- , from amongst the specialties that I mentioned, i can’t just choose, ’cause every specialty i chose, contains a reason, anyway, all what i want something’ that through it , i’ll be given a scholarship to USA Somethin’ that really have a brilliant future in such an African Country ” Algeria” .

Okay, so I finally got my home network up and running. My router is currently in PPPoE mode and I’m trying to decide on what connection to put my xbox 360 through.

1) Assign a static IP address to my xbox 360 and enable DMZ mode for the xbox 360

or

2) Input my PPPoE settings into my xbox 360 and set all the network connections to automatic (looks like it gets these straight from my ISP)

Which would be the better connection to choose so that I’m not lagging in games? Both connections show no signs of problems of interacting with the internet

c. PBX
d. Subscriber Line
e. Exchanges

They are about the same price…. this one is 1000 feet though but is off brand and dont know if its the current standard or old standard:

This one is half the length, 500 feet but its Belkin and it says it exceeds current standard for Cat6 568-B.2-1 (though the sites to purchase from tend to say its the old standard, so who knows)

Also there is a person suggesting I just go with Cat5e and I dont need Cat6, but since it doesnt cost more than $20 more for Cat6 I dont see why not to upgrade since it apparently has fewer dropped packets, thoughts on this are appreciated

I want to be able to choose which internet connection to use, because someitmes limewire will be using one, and I want to surf the internet with the other, how can i do that? Thanks for your time

i dont know what all these settings are for ppp on demand, ATM circuit identifier, ATM Encapsulation, Force Upstream MTU. ive been haveing to reset my 2wire alot mabye its junk? what can i do to make sure i have a good connection all the time?

I use a static IP at home, but the network on campus won’t let me connect if my notebook is configured that way for their network. Is there a way (Vista Home) to configure network-specific IP settings?
