I would like to get home broadband, but obviously would like it as cheap as possible. I would like a service that has no limits on downloading.

With Virgin Media I am currently paying £36 for 8MB broadband, evening and weekend call and 300 mins / 300 texts on my mobile. I want to get this down somewhat.

I am living in Ireland and my girlfriend is living and studying in Germany, She has no access to a landline as no public phones receive calls over there, so must ring her mobile,I currently use nonoh to ring her for 8cent a min, is there a cheaper or maybe even a free way to make these calls?

Vonage is not the cheapest. Skype is around $3 per month. Looking for something cheaper than skyper and that also supports SIP technology.

I’ve check out VOIPStunt. They offer free trial call is it true that it’s really free or will it be charged to my phone because it was asking for my phone number aside from the destination phone. Also it claims that if I buy the 10 Euro credit I could call unlimited (no time limit) to the free destination listed (Italy and US were included) for 120 days. Has anyone tried this? I just want to be sure there isn’t any other conditions or fine lines I’ve missed. Thanks for any information that may help.

How does a small business set up the most affordable pbx system?
Lets say we do not want to set up an actual phone system – such as the one which connects the box in the phone/wire room, and the jacks all go out through that phone box. Rather, how does one set up a phone system which would be connected through the computer, or a phone handset. I believe there are some voip/computer solutions, but i fail to understand how it works.

Could someone please provide detail step by step guide as to how to set up an affortable pbx through the technology of desktop computer/voip, etc? Thanks!

P.S: The functions that are expected from the pbx system, is that when someone wants to make a phone call, they can dial the main number, and then dial the appropriate extension, so that the caller would be routed to the appropriate person.

Skype only allows 50 calls before charges apply. For domestic calls in the US, is there a better deal out there?

I bought an ipod touch and it wont work with my modem. I want a router that i dont have to connect to my computer but will still work with my ipod touch.

I am a small business receiving between 3000 to 5000 faxes a month. For various reasons, hosted faxing is it for me, since I work from multiple locations. My current hosted faxing (myfax) is killing me in cost. I want to try out some cheaper ones, but am not sure about their reliability. I would like to use the virtual number to forward to whatever is my current fax number. Most virtual numbers layer another 1.5 to 10 cents per minute. My forwarding will be in the same area code, so I see no reason not to get a flat fee service. Do folks like vonage forward from the switch (ie pstn to pstn) or does it get come to my voip box before bouncing back? Thanks in advance for any help.

I would like to knw which is the cheapest VOIP service available to call from Kuwait to India. I am using Phoneserve now to call. It is giving me 364 mins to call india from a card of 11$ which i purchase from KD: 2.750.

Also kindly advise were i can get the calling cards for the cheapest VOIP. Please do not give me any VOIP service details which ask the payment through credit cards.
