Cycling Racing, Junior & Cat5 mens race.?
Hi, I am about to start racing next year (when i turn 18) and realized that I’m only allowed to buy a Junior Road Racing licence.
After reading the USAC cycling rule book, i found that :
“Under 23 and Junior riders may compete in any races for their age or older, subject to category restrictions but not Masters races.”
Does that mean i can race in regular Cat 5 mens races with my Junior license?
RJ45 cat5, 5E, 6?
what’s the difference between these ethernet (lan) cables???
cat7 or cat5 for a Roku player?
I recently bought a Roku XDS media player. I tried to hook it up wirelessly but that did not seem to work due to DNS numbers? connectivity? etc. I plugged it into an ethernet cable and it worked instantly. I guess I will be in the attic running approximately 25 feet from my modem/router (ATT provided) to my Roku player. My question is what ethernet cable should I use? Cat5e, Cat6 or Cat7? Will it make a difference in my situation? Anything else to look at while buying (patch, gold plate, etc?) that might be helpful info while purchasing? While I am at it, does anyone have any good tips for using/setting up a Roku? Thanks for all your answers.

can i link 2 pcs with one cat5 cable?
I have a 100ft run from my router and want to link another pc to the existing cable.. can i use a splitter and use both pc’s off the same cable? is it possible for them to each get a seperate ip address although it uses one port on the router?
I also have a small network hub. could I connect the 100 ft cable to the uplink and then connect both pc’s to the hub? Also the hub will be connected to one port in the router..
Will AT&T install a new drop line and install a new NID and run Cat5 wire when we get U-verse installed?
I live in a 1960′s built home with old wiring the drop line is in ok condition does have some cracks though. The NID is on a brick wall outside (about to fall off) and is orignal to the house I think. The inside phone line isnt in a very good place I need it to be in my home office (way on the other side of the house) as for the Cat5 I’ve heard they will run i through the attic for up to 3 TV’s and a line to the RG (residential gateway) there is about 10 year old coax and I am sick of looking at it. I am geting U-verse in 3 rooms and the RG will be in the office. Will they do this work for free? and if not how much money am I looking at spending I don’t want to spend a huge amount.
