My internet connection keeps dropping, usually when I’m away from the computer for several hours (work, sleep, etc.). Is there a way to tell if it’s the ethernet card causing the problem?

I can see that with my Wireless PCI Card, it picks up network file speed 54 MBPS, but on Ethernet Cord, it picks up on 100 MBPS. Which device will give you faster download and upload speed?

I have a cradlepoint wireless router, and a wireless sierra sprint card, and they work fine for everything, including three computers and an iPod touch, but the Wii will not work with it. If anybody knows how to make the Wii work, that would be great! Thanks!

I dont want to have to spend a ton of money if i can get one cheap.Will i still get reliable,fast downloads with the $20 ethernet card?Im using a usb cable for my dsl modem because the ethernet option wont work for some reason.I bought a new Cat5e cable,im gonna see if that fixes the problem first.If that doesnt work im gonna try a new card.I know what the obvious answer is….the more money i fork out the better its gonna be.I just need to know if its gonna be at least a little better.The usb cable is working out ok….it has its days,but i want to switch to ethernet to see if i can make my movie and music downloads a little more peppy,things like that…Thanks

I have a laptop and I use the sprint mobile broadband wireless card to get internet connection. I was just wondering, can I share that connection using an ethernet cable with my ps3?

Can a 2nd computer use the Internet through the 1st computer which uses the Verizon Broadband card UM175VW? A wireless router cannot be used, since the device only plugs into 1 computer directly. However, is there another way, such as running a cable from the 2nd computer to the first computer and getting Internet through that?

I have an HP Pavillion a340n with Windows XP. I think my video card has gone out because after booting the screen goes black but the PC is still on. Here is the problem, I just got a new XBOX 360 and I am trying to connect it to XBOX Live. However the only internet I have acces to is through a broadband card. I live in a area where broadband is almost impossible to get. My only options were satelite or wireless broadband cards. Since the broadband cards were a “no-brainer”, I want to find wireless router that I plug my card (usb) into, so that it can signal through the whole house. Is there one out there I can do that with? We just bought a Sprint 598U Sierra Wireless card and a broadband router (Cradlepoint Technology), and so far have only managed to get it to show a local connection, no matter what efforts we took to get it to connect to the internet. Troubleshooting, anyone?
