I heard that it only rings on the other line, and you cant talk to the other person. Is this true?

I want to make VOIP calls from India to UK. It may be PC to PC/Mobile/Landline. Could you please let me know the best (Cheaper and quality wise) way to do that.

How is it when calling an extension at a business you hear the music and then the ringing. How does\the phone system know when to stop playing the music to leave a voicemail. How do I program my PBX system to play music for a few seconds and then hear the ring or have the caller hear the music while the extension is ringing?

I am trying to set up my account with Outlook Express and it is asking me for my POP 3 Server and my STMS???? It asks if I am using POP3 or IMAP…..I have no clue what to do. Can someone please help me? Can I figure this out without calling my ISP? Thank youuuuuuu!

the virtual memory low sign kept coming up when i was in the middle of doing things so i tried to repair it.i went to the windows web site and followed the instructions of how to get rid of this annoying problem.my laptop went to re-start after i finished but there is problems getting to the start menu.its ok starting it up,we have four users and when i click on any of them it pops up on screen all different things to do with the memory like “load library gem.dll fail” or “intailize winsock failed” or “wLlancfgG” or “load library procnics.dll fail”.how do i get back to my memory page file so i get back to where i was before,i really wish i just left it now.i cant get to the control panel nither or it wont let me re-store the system.please please help,i really cant afford another laptop yet.it is a patriot 1.0,1gb and i run it on windows xp.(sent this message on a friends laptop).

For the last couple of weeks my internet browser hasn’t been functioning. When I attempt to connect to a website I get the “Cannot Connect” message.

The problem is occurring on both Mozzilla Firefox and Internet Explorer. I have checked all the connections, restarted my modem, even ran a Winsock fix. I’ve looked all over the net but nothing is working.

The odd thing is, it is only the main computer that is having the issue. The laptop that I am using now connects via the wireless modem which is hooked up to the main computer, and works fine. Same with my Xbox Live connections. For some reason MSN works on the main computer, it’s just the browser.

I know that in VOIP you can have maximum 5 numbers of 5 different countries and VOIP calls within India is not allowed.But what if someone from outside India gets a Indian number ,say city Delhi’s number and use that number to call his friend in Delhi(landline/mobile) pretending as if he is in Delhi.Is this possible?

if yes, kindly provide some pointers on how this could be implemented.

I suppose, many of you would have used voip raider software. How could you trace someone who is using voip raider software for phone calls ?
