I bought a Cricket wireless passport broadband card and my laptop doesn’t have a PC card slot. The card requires a standard type II slot. My laptop is new, an hp pavilion 9420. Is there an adapter or something I can use?

Okay so I got the cicket wireless broadband and it works great on my pc BUT when i plug it into my laptop it says that its not connected or when i press connect it doesn’t connect and idk but when i try to uninstall it, it does but it still has the files saved and it just doesnt work at all.

My son wants to bring his laptop over to his grandparents home and they do not have any computer or broadband connection.

I have a desktop with XP and a laptop with Vista. I use Verizon broadband with a USB720 modem . Is there anyway to network?

I have cricket broadband and trying to connect to internet using my nintendo wii. I am having trouble setting it up.

I have a broadband connection thru a cable line and need to know if this means I have a dsl modem. This is b/c I am installing a printer which would need a dsl filter if I have a dsl connection.

Sometimes when i’m online I leave my broadband box on even when i’m not using it. I could be gone to the shop or doing another chore when I remember I left it on. Am I using bandwith even when i’m not using it?

All the other computers in the house work, but when I connect my wireless it works for a few minutes very slowly but then turns off the broadband and then I cannot connect it for hours! Please help xx

I have a desktop PC with windows vista and I have an xp laptop that has a wireless broadband card, and I wanted to know how to connect my desktop to the internet through my laptop. I have an ethernet cable to connect them, but I could never establish an internet connection. Please explain to me what to do to get connected.

The only internet connection I have is mobile broadband (I use an aircard device which connects to my usb port). I now have 2 computers using the same printer which is wifi, but when I installed the drivers for the second and first computer, I can only get the printer to work using the usb cable. Why is that? The salesperson at the computer store said it is because I am using mobile broadband. Is there anything I can do to change settings to be able to use the printer without the cable?

Now we have one PC online broadband, and another PC not online. Considering replacing that with a Mac, and going wireless for both.

I have a broadband point in my room (student accommodation) and a laptop that has a 56K modem. Would I get a faster connection if I used a wireless router to connect wirelessly to the broadband connection rather than just a standard phone cable (will a normal phone cable do?) connected between the point and my laptop?
