I will use this on my 802.11g wireless network. I will use it to get internet access on my video phone for the deaf and hard of hearing. I want to connect this phone up wirelessly as its not practical for me to run 100 ft. of cat5 cable.

I am using DSL and I would like to know why my ethernet bridge is not working right while the router and wireless laptop card is? The bridge I am using is connected to a pc. The other one is on the router.

I have a faulty sky router (the black sagem), only the modem on it was faulty, so I know have two of the same router and would like to set the old one up as a bridge, and im unsure how to go about this?

I get wireless access on my laptop, but when I try to connect my xbox to the laptop through the ethernet cord, my laptop trys to gain internet access through the ethernet, not the wireless signal, to gain the wireless signal back, I have to disable the ethernet connection, which stops the computer from communicating with the xbox. Is there a bridge to use both at the same time?

i have my xbox 360 connected to my comp through a cat5 cable. i could connect before through the bridge but we recently went from comcast w/ no WEP to AT&T/Yahoo w/ a WEP. it wont connect now, when i run the connectoin process, it doesnt go past DNS.

I have a CAT 5 cable which has the jacks at both ends.I have a laptop which uses windows media center and a PC which uses Windows Xp professional.
Now i want to connect the PC and laptop using the already mentioned Cat5 cable so that I can transfer data from my PC to laptop.

i have a tp-link modem it has 4 points and i have two computers. the isp uses pppoe and i can login from one or the other using windows login feature for pppoe connection but can i do this for two commputers and login simultaneously.

It has four ethernet conections (ports). the isp only supports bridging mode and there fore i have to use windows to connect to the isp it uses a pppoe connection (username and password to connect) i wish to know will there be any errors if i were to connect it to two different computers using only two of the 4 ports and use the bridging mode and sign in.

i have BSNL dataone router model no. smartAX mt882. i want to configure in bridge mode. presently i am running in PPPoE mode i want to change in bridge. but when i click right mouse then on Bridge Option a msg display on screen that “To create a Network Bridge, you must select at least two LAN or High-Speed Internet connection that are not being used by Internet Connection Sharing”.

so plz tell wat is first step for configuring the Bridge Mode

I have a D-Link 2640 adsl modem. My provider asked me to connect using Bridge. With the help of the service center, we could not make it working! Later, I changed it to DHCP, now it works!

My question is,
1. What is this Bridge and DHCP?
2. Whats the difference/ benefit over each other?

Ok, in order for a certain job protocol to work I had to change my netopia broadband modem to a BRIDGE. Now I connected my first linksys router, entered pppoe info. and presto worked fine. But when I try to add another router to the netopia I can’t get the second router to work….router 1 continues to work fine, but the second one just won’t work … what am I missing?

I have an ATT wireless broadband usb. After I plug the usb into my computer, I can connect the internet normally. But when I plug an LAN cable while my usb is still plugged in the computer, I cannot use the Internet even though I try to bridge them. Could somebody tell me how to fix it? Thanks a lot!
