I dont know if anybody can help me, but my at&t 2wire modem frequently disconnects from the internet. What can I do about this? I’ve done a little bit of research, and people say that changing the wire might help, but I’m still not sure whether i should do that or not.

What is the fastest internet connection you can have with a wireless router using AT&T?
I have AT&T and am using a Wireless G Broadband Router. What is the fastest internet possible with this setup? What is the fastest internet available period?

Netgear Wireless Router with AT&T Yahoo DSL…?
Well, I’m trying to set up my network with our new ISP. It was working relatively fine with Clearwire Wireless Broadband. We just got AT&T DSL so I set it up this morning. Well, it worked fine when it was straight modem to computer. Then when I added the router, it stopped working. I’ve put the settings in the router…a lot of times. I reset the router, a lot of times. Unplugged and replugged everything, a lot of times. I called Netgear, its a Netgear router, who won’t help me because I’ve had it longer than 90 days. I called AT&T who couldn’t help, tried, but failed.
The router is now detecting a PPPoE connection, which is correct, and I enter the login for the account, but when it is finished, it still doesn’t have internet…its getting me all riled up. I can’t figure out what the problem is. AT&T had me log on to the modem and set the PPPoE for “on the computer” which is something that I hadn’t had before, but it still won’t work.
It’s a Motorola modem…
AT&T told me to use “username@att.net” as the user name. I’ve tried it with and without, no difference.
Cool, I will try the 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.10.1 change and see if that works.
AT&T is the WORST telecommunication company in the world?
they are suppose to install my U-Verse TV and internet between 12 to 2 today but they came around 4:45. I took the day off for this…I hate them with a passion!!!!!
I cannot reach my static addresses from ATT.?
I have signed up for a block of static IP addresses but cannot access them. I have a Linksys Router access my DSL modem via PPPoE and I get back 75.55.5.6 as my router address. This works fine. The router is set up for my static addresses. I have 3 or more computers that I assigned Static Addresses from 75.55.5.1 to 75.55.5.2 to etc… 75.55.5.5. All of these computers have Internet connectivity. So far so good. But here is the problem. I can’t ping 75.55.5.1 to 75.55.5.5 from the outside world. What I need to do is have another computer send a Special protocol DataGram to one of these computers on its static address. I want to use ports 1234 and 1235. But from the outside internet access, they do not route to my computers. I can only ping 75.55.5.6. So what is wrong? How do I communicate with these computers?
Thanks,

** SpeedStream DSL modems have this as the
“PPPoE on computer” option.

I want to reroute my ADSL to Dallas first instead of CHICAGO. Will AT&T SBC allow a reroute? How to do it?
I game on a California server. When I run traceroute it always goes to Chicago then west to Cali. I live in SW Arkansas, very near to Texas. I want my ISP, AT&T ADSL, to route through Dallas. How is this best done? Will AT&T help me?
I have a dynamic IP address. I am just looking for a lower ping.

How to enable DHCP on a At&t 2701HG-B router?
Im trying to connect to xbox live via wireless network adapter but the ip address “fails” everytime. It then says it won’t connect because it’s ” unable to negotiate lease with DHCP” or something like that. Please help, very frustrating.
