I have tried everything to play Xbox Live with my Arris Touchstone Telephony modem. I’ve heard that you need a router for it to play online….is it true? I don’t know. Plus, I even tried testing my connection…please, help.

hi does anyone know how to enable the dhcp server in an arris T502G cable modem?

Please help someone i herd from people that is the name of the modem well the name of it is it say on the modem>>>> Fist it says ARRIS like that then below in littel letter on the front of it, it says touchstone telephony modem well whats my SSID help please?? oh and wen i did it the first time it always said linksys but wen i clicked on it it said error i forgot the rest lol help me??

i have an arris modem. it only has one ethernet port. i have another modem that is simens. i connect to internet with simens modem. i have an arris modem in the same room that connects to my phone also. it says telephony, touchstone and modem. how do i connect to xbox live using that and not my simens router?????? please help!

Don’t know what’s wrong, when I first got my Xbox 360 about a month ago, I could connect it to this modem perfectly fine.. I took my xbox over to a friend’s house, didn’t even connect it to the internet there. When I brought it home and tried to connect, it instantly says unable to connect to hardware. I don’t know what’s wrong, as no settings have been changed on either thing. Could it have changed settings automatically when I unplugged my 360 from the modem? The modem isn’t connected to any kind of computer, as it was before. Model of the modem is the TM402.

I have a new Arris 502G modem that I want to connect. My current modem is the same a 502G that is connected to the internet/phone. My new one won’t connect. The phone1 just blinks.

I called my internet provider & they said that i have to use theirs b/c each modem is flashed programed for each users account. They also said, if it was just an internet connection we could do a MAC address, but since i also have the phone connection, I’m SOL.

Any tricks on my end i could try? Running Windows XP/w Ethernet. They raised the rental fee from $3 to $5/month. The new Modem was $40

I need to check some signal levels of the cable modem and i don’t know if the adree is 192.xxx.xx. something or 172.xxx.xx something please help..

I see that people are able to connect to their arris modems, but is there a difference between telephony and cable modems? my modem has a cable TV cable attached to it and an ethernet port, but is it possible to connect to xbox live without disrupting my cable and telephone service? also, will it be slow?

I am a comcast customer and i have a comcast arris touchstone telephony modem, how do i connect to xbox live with this modem???? i test my connection and it states that i need to find my static IP address, PLZ help
