Now, I’ve given a lot of video attention to some of Nokia’s hottest mobile devices. In June of this year, I covered (via video) the N95 which comes with a 5-megapixel camera (is it a camera with a phone or a phone with a camera) and then last month, I covered (again, via video) the newer N95 as well as a prototype of the N81.

I am currently on disability and haven’t worked in almost 5 years. I am 30 years old. I have a bachelor degree in business administration with a minor in telecommunications. I’m not sure how to get a job with such a gap in work history, how much I should expect to make, and what I could expect to do.

The reason I’m posting here is because I asked one of my family members what I should do and they said I should become a dish washer or a pizza delivery boy. I’ll be honest, my feelings were hurt that they didn’t think more highly of my capabilities, education, and experience.

If anyone has any advice for re-entry into the work force, please let me know.

or would telecommunications be a better major for it?

Yesterday the power went out and i have a battery back up so i promptly shut down my machine. I go back today and the computer will turn on but a second later shut down. Now the computer, monitors and the router is all powered by this supply and no damage was done to anything else. Also we have 2 other computers, with no protection, hooked up to this network as well as a switcher and some game consoles. Everything else is fine and works as intended. The one thing that i didnt have protected is the cat5 cable. Been meaning to get it protected but didnt have a spare cable to connect from the supply to the computer. Even though the cable itself wasnt protected the router was, can the surge skip the router and just damge the motherboard? So it seems that my motherboard is shot and need to now be replaced. Funny how the only computer with anysort of “protection” gets damaged…

others : I have tryed to plug the computer into the wall different outlets, everything, the Power supplie powers up the monitors and router fine and to me is working as intended. The battery back-up is a APC BACK-UPS ES 8 Outlet 650VA 120V which has surge protection so i dont think it would be power supply. Fans/sinks are all fine. All fans turn on and i dont hink anything has a chace to over heat. the computer stays on for no more them a second

Whenever I try to connect, it says “The settings saved on this computer do not match the requirements needed to connect” or something similar to that.
Also, whenever I take the password off and leave it insecure, it connects just fine.
The only way I can connect is by using an Ethernet Cable from the router and my laptop.

I had lost the password to my linksys wireless-g router, so I did the whole reset thing, but now the Internet on the computer it is connected to is not working, can anyone explain how I restore my Internet?

So I went ahead with my original plan. I did a router upgrade.
My Win 7 laptop – perfect connection, maybe better than before!
My XP desktop PC, good connection, could be better.
My sister’s Vista – only google works. Full signal. Under attached devices, her laptop is there. I have restarted the laptop twice, and pulled out and inserted the power lead to the router multiple times. Anyone have any suggestions?

Would routing and switching solutions expert map well?

I have two computers. When I want to connect my laptop or plug the desktop back in, I take the ethernet cord out of the desktop and put it into my laptop and it gets a limited connection. I then have to reset the router every time it happens. Is this normal, and if not, how can I fix this? Also if I want to use two computers on one ethernet connection at he same time, do I need a hub or switch?

my bf pranked my sister 2 years ago for about 2-3 months over the phone.her and her husband were gonna press charges but decided not to.and now they want to try to press charges…idk if its to late.

The main network is using a router wired through the building,

in one room I connected my DI-624 wireless router to the wall – and two computers wired to the router, one wireless to the router. This worked fine for internet, but I couldn’t access the main network (just computers attached to the DI-624 network).

So I disabled DHCP (turning the router into a switch I guess). Works great, all computers (even wireless – after some tweaking) connect to both the internet and main network.

BUT, now I cannot get to the DI-624 CONFIGURATION. I have tried all sorts of IP addresses, looked at the default gateway (tried that address), just can’t get back to it?

I’m in not stressing too much because it works, but I can’t change any settings anymore?

i am pursuing my degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering. i am in third year now. i want to ask what more i need to do to b somewhat special in my field. i want to remain in core E&TC and not go for core software. i have interest in programming. Now i am thinking about doing a course of embedded. That includes programming of PIC, PLC and arm processors. will this be beneficial for me in future? So is there a scope for embedded systems? What kind of jobs can i get in embedded field?

My computer was first wireless internet but i then switched it and connecte it with an ethernet cable, but when i want to use wireless again it says something about a cable being unplugged which is the ethernet cable, but i dont want wired connection i want wireless and i cant find how to reconnect to it.

I saw an article on Yahoo about cheap phone stuff and lost the link. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
