Now that Dish Network has enabled ethernet, how can i access the device from my home network? I can ping the DVR but do not knwo its name and cannot see it from my network places.

I have a router in a seperate room upstairs and the main router in the living room, how do I access the 2nd router to put a stupid 360 on a static IP address.

I have a desktop in my shop that cannot get the wifi from my house. I have tried better antennas but that dosn’t quite do it. What do I need to put on the wall opposite the house that I can run cat5 from the desktop about 25 ft to get the signal from the house. AP? Bridge? etc.

Forgive me if I can’t explain my situation properly. We have cable internet and a wireless router in the living room of our house. I have a desktop computer in my room that doesn’t have a wireless network card. I have an extra linksys router that I was hoping I could use plug into my desktop to get internet access. How would I go about doing this?

I have a Belkin wireless G plus and a US robotics wireless max g router , can I use one a access point and if so how? Do I still need to connect them with cat5 to each other?

I would like to offer five computer stations for my customers to browse the internet. I am wired for phone but not cable. In addition I would like to offer wireless internet access for the customers. There is an area set aside for five computers, the computers and wireless connections will get constant use but with a tight budget I am unsure whether to use a terminal-to-host, file server, or clinet/server. I would like a quality set up that is only expensive as need be. I am also unsure what type of protocol and network switching device to use for 5 computers on the LAN and for wireless access. In regards to cabling, I need a media type that would be best suited for my project and unsure which telecommunications device to purchase as well as the internet type that would best suit the customer’s. I know this sounds like alot but I believe that my customer’s would love this new feature and I know that they would get alot of use.
The coffee shop seems like a pretty popular local hangout and I know that the computers would get constant use, but it would not bring me any profit except for the fact I may draw more customers that would like to check their email or access the internet. I hope to sell more coffee.

I have a Wii system and I used to use Wi-Fi for internet access, however I moved to a rural area where I am forced to use a Mobile Broadband Device to get internet. Is there any way to hook it up to my computer and then my computer to the wireless output device in order to have wireless internet for my Wii system?
