I am conected to the internet by ADSL when I right click on computer icons in desktop tray and disconect I can not reconnect…dignosting is not effective restarting windows is not effective too…the only way is to shutting down the windows…my windows is vista home edition and is orginal in my laptop for 2 years has been working properly…I do not want to format and reinstal operating system…what I have to do?

Do this a million times a week but this time there is no option to create new connection, Ethernet card is installed and drivers functioning properly (in control panel/device manager), however it it still not being seen/detected – any ideas?

this is not in the add remove program…it is a VPN connection…couln’t remove it it i run any type of anti virus…i believe it is in the registry

i want to know do i need a dsl modem because only thing i got is a telephony modem and a regular modem

At the last LAN I went to, I was crimping cables for the many people there that didn’t bring anything with which to network. I was borrowing the crimping tools from another person, who attempted to convince me that as long as the first wire was orange/white and the last wire was brown, then the rest of the cables sequence didn’t matter. I thought to my self he was a fool, but didn’t say anything and just did the normal sequence that I had been taught. Does anyone know if this is true or not?

I know how to wire bothways but I wonder if there is a difference in efficiency between the two, does one standard allow for more bandwidth or something else?
